In order to continue the negotiations over the Wisconsin state budget, Democratic Senator Mark Miller sent a letter to Governor Scott Walker requesting a summit near the Wisconsin-Illinois border. Gov. Walker dismissed the request calling it "ridiculous". Republican lawmakers and Gov. Walker's staffers have met with Democratic senators before in nontraditional settings, such as in McDonald's restaurants.
