Wisconsin governor facing recall after workers collect 1m signatures
On Tuesday, opponents of Wisconsin governor Scott Walker delivered more than 1 million signatures to recall the governor, more than twice the needed number. The push to recall Walker comes after he passed a law that would eliminate collective bargaining rights for public sector workers, despite sustained protest throughout the state. The governor is not the only target of a recall election, with up to seventeen sate senators also facing recall proceedings.
