Wisconsin Republicans cut right-to-work hearing short, advance bill
Yesterday, thousands of workers stood in Wisconsin front of the Senate building holding a public demonstration. The State Senate is scheduled to review a bill that could convert Wisconsin to a right-to-work state. Approximately 2,000 union members gathered outside of the building, a small number in comparison to the 100,000 people that rallied last year when Gov. Scott Walker first proposed this bill.
