Wisconsin teachers' union announces layoffs affecting 40 percent of staff
Because of a new law pushed by Gov. Walker of Wisconsin, the statewide teacher's union is laying off 40 percent of their staff. This law was written to curb collective bargaining rights. Dan Burkhalter, the executive director of the Wisconsin Education Association Council describes Walker's bill as "union-busting."
