With Minimum Wage Hike, College Students See More Change
Massachusetts recently saw a wage increase from $8 to $9 with the start of 2015. States such as this one plan to have a wage floor of $11 by the start of 2017. The wage increase has led to a considerable pay bump for college students working in the state of Massachusetts. Opponents of the wage increase argue that it will lead to inflation and jeopardize the success of small businesses.
