With TV Deals Ahead, Players Reject Salary Cap Limits
NBA teams are set to experience a large increase in revenue this year as a result of new TV contracts the teams are signing, which are valued at around 2.6 billion. Players, who receive salaries based on their team's revenue, are demanding an increased salary cap for this year. It is expected that the salary cap may increase by $20 million for the 2016-2017 season.
