Women not saving enough for retirement - study
A study released by human resource firm Hewitt Associates has found that women are not saving enough money for retirement. The study cites womens' longer average lifespan and significant wealth gap when compared to men as major contributors to their inability to save enough for retirement. One solution for women is to delay retirement, which can help even out the difference between retirement payouts and the costs associated. The study found that 90 percent of women are not sure regarding the management of their finances, but that increasingly firms are offering investment guidance.
