Worker confidence in employers plunges-survey
A new survey found that workers are less optimistic about their company's outlook for the next six months, with only 33% saying that they feel good about it. Men and women differ in the survey, with men being more optimistic about their companies and feeling more confident that they will get a raise in the next year. The survey also found that a third of unemployed workers were not sure they would be able to find a job at their skill level, and older workers were less confident about their job prospects. Job data for September will be released by the Labor Department on Friday.
