Workers accuse union of unfair practices
A complaint filed with the National Labor Relations Board by two former members of United Steelworkers Local 2 charges the union with coercion and harassment since their resignation. The workers resigned from the union in November during a strike at the Akron Goodyear plant and returned to work. Since their resignation, the complaint charges that the union has continued to deduct dues from the workers' paycheck, in addition to fining the workers for crossing the picket line.
