Workers and bosses don't quite connect
A recent study by Randstad North America found that an increasing number of both employers and employees feel that having a family-like atmosphere in the workplace is important. However fears concerning job-security and employee turnover have caused tension and mistrust, making this a difficult goal to achieve. The survey also found that while employers and employees see themselves as being loyal, they are less likely to see each other as being loyal. Experts suggest that employers conduct their own surveys to gauge workplace attitudes and take immediate action to address any issues.
