Workers at IKEA?s only US factory vote to join Machinists union; vote in southern Va. is 3-1
In one of the largest unionization votes in recent years, the workers at IKEA's only US factory were victorious in becoming unionized by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. This victory is very impressive because the plant is located in a right-to-work state and not coincidentally a state with one of the lowest levels of union membership.
