Workers at Newmont Indonesia on strike-official
Around 400 workers at a Newmont Mining Corporation mine in Indonesia have gone on strike. The strike is over working shifts. The company says that production has not been affected by the strike. The company also said that they are in talks with the union and the government. The mine is Indonesia's second largest. Workers at another large mine, owned by Freeport McMoRan have been on strike for over two months.
