Workers contracts with Iowa back on the table
While state workers unions in Iowa are reaching agreements with the state, the Governor-elect says that he will re-open all those contracts when he takes office. He says that none of the agreements, which include 2% pay raises, are sustainable. The Governor-elect says that he wants a pay freeze for state workers. Iowan labor leaders say that they will wait until he takes office and listen to what he has to say then.
