Workers Falling Behind in Mexico
Mexico has yet to recover from the financial crisis that hit the country in 1994. A surplus of labor and increased foreign competition has kept wages low. Depressed wages cause many workers to illegally migrate to the U.S. or seek jobs in the black market. Analysts say that in order to remain competitive and increase wages Mexico must invest in worker training and education.
