Workers get back to work following the end of Exxon’s 10-month lockout
Members of the USW Local 13-243 in Beaumont, Texas began returning to work on Monday at Exxon Mobil Corp. This is their first time back to work after the end of a 10-month company lockout. All workers will have returned to the refinery by Friday. The USW's international representative said, “We are happy our members are going back. It's not the contract that our members deserve, but we will continue representing our members and will stand by them to make sure Exxon Mobil follows the new contract.”
