Workers reach an early agreement with Consolidated Communications
Consolidated Communications workers threatened to strike if a fair contract was not able to be negotiated. With their current contract set to expire on Saturday, negotiations went through Sunday. A day after the threat of striking, an early agreement was met. The contract will improve subcontractor language and decrease the transfer of work over the next four years.
