Workers share the pros and cons of fully remote work as many companies push the return to the office
Personal interviews with a variety of workers whose jobs continue to be fully remote have revealed a shared appreciation for remote work. These workers explained the benefits of increased quality time with family, and how this has changed their outlook on work-life balance. They illustrated the invaluable experience of being able to travel more freely and leave their cities to spend more time outdoors in the suburbs. However, they also addressed and acknowledged the downsides to fully remote work, including time-zone complications and fear of missing out on in-person connections with colleagues.
