As workers are asked to do more, even as the ways to communicate at work increase, companies say that distraction is becoming a problem at work. Some companies are pushing for changes that will reduce the distractions for workers. Some companies are limiting internal emails and others have reduced the number of projects anyone can take on at one time. Some studies have found that some interruptions can help people work faster, and that limited distractions on the web can increase creativity.
