Workplace romance has plenty of admirers.
Boeing Co.'s decision to fire its chief executive over an office affair has brought workplace romances into the spotlight. It is estimated that as many as half of all executives have dated someone from work, and most companies have rather lenient polices towards office relationships. However, many companies are concerned about avoiding scandals and lawsuits. Most workplace experts say that companies should set guidelines, but not completely prohibit workplace romance.
