Yale, Columbia Grad Students to Strike
Graduate students at Yale and Columbia Universities are planning to strike for one week to try to force administrators to recognize their right to unionize. This action follows a National Labor Relations Board ruling last year that graduate students at private colleges are students, not workers, and cannot form unions. University officials stand by this ruling and say that the strikes will not change their position.
