Yelp will be announcing their intent to cover expenses for employees who must travel out of state for access to abortion care. The company’s chief diversity officer said of the decision, “The ability to control your reproductive health, and whether or when you want to extend your family, is absolutely fundamental to being able to be successful in the workplace.” Workers will submit receipts for their travel expenses directly to their insurance company for reimbursement.
