Outsourced workers find voice, listeners
The practice of outsourcing has become a major issue in the upcoming presidential election. Democrats have criticized Bush's policies and proposed legislation that would require more disclosure by companies involved in sending jobs overseas. Those who support outsourcing point out that it helps companies to improve profits and efficiency. However, as long as the unemployment rate remains high, it is likely to be unpopular among American workers.
