U.A.W. Contract With Fiat Chrysler Would Give 2nd-Tier Workers Big Raise
The United Automobile Workers union released details of a new contract with Fiat Chrysler, which impact 39,000 employees. The deal, which will be in place for four years, will raise entry level wages to $19 an hour, and veteran workers' wages to $28 an hour. The two tier system was put in place in 2007. All new hires will also receive a $3,000 signing bonus under this contract.
