Starbucks Falls Short After Pledging Better Labor Practices
A year ago, Starbucks announced that it would post employees' schedules at least 10 days in advance and make more of an effort to give employees consistent schedules from week to week. However, employees of the company have come forward saying that their schedules are still varied and they often get less than a weeks notice on shifts. Despite these complaints, spokeswoman for the company has maintained that all baristas do receive their schedules at least 10 days in advance.
