Health law could boost use of temp workers
As full implementation of the Affordable Care Act draws closer, experts say that companies looking to thwart new costs may be turning to temporary workers as a solution. Parts of the law only effect those with more than 50 companies and for larger organizations, only workers who work 30 or more hours a week. By contracting with companies to provide temps, companies with around 50 employees, may be able to lower costs. Experts say that for both large and small organizations, temporary and part-time workers are way to get around the new regulations.
