Employees want flexibility not hybrid
As there is a return to the office, experts are warning companies that what workers actually want is flexibility, not hybrid schedules. A hybrid schedule suggests that workers will be in person for so many days and remote for so many, with what days will be which mode dictated by the company. Workplace experts and company CHROs are saying that what workers need is the flexibility to figure out for themselves what days they will be remote and what days they will be in person. One thing is clear though, “We’re giving people flexibility to work in a way that suits their life, but we’re also holding the bar high on performance. That’s good for companies and employees.”
