Adecco SA, the worlds largest employment services firm, has been seeing increases in new orders for U.S. temporary workers. The most significant gains in orders occurred in the South. Increased demand for new temporary workers occurred in several sectors including financial, pharmaceutical, electronics and automotive manufacturing. The head of operations for Adecco feels that the increased demand for temporary workers is due to the fact that many employers do not want to commit to full-time employees.
