Battle Builds Over Workers' Comp
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is trying to make worker compensation lawsuits more difficult to file in an attempt to cut down on rising costs and insurance premiums. This move has been protested by labor leaders and the lawyers who help workers' comp applicants who have vowed to fight for the protection of worker rights. Business interests support the passage of stricter workers? comp reform. Many fear that this conflict of interest could turn onto a lengthy initiative battle.
