Bush Supports Shift of Jobs Overseas
In the president's annual report to Congress on the health of the economy, Bush stated that outsourcing is a positive force that will benefit the U.S. economy in the long-run. Although acknowledging that the movement of jobs overseas inevitably hurts some domestic workers, the report says that all Americans will reap the benefits of cheaper goods and services and the creation of new jobs. Bush also credited his tax cuts with making the economy strong.
