Chief Executives' Survey Fuels Hopes on Hiring
According to a survey released yesterday by the Business Roundtable, chief executives of the nation's largest companies say they are ready to begin hiring again. The chairman of the Business Roundtable said that C.E.O.s feel that the economy is steadily improving. The pace of job growth may remain slow however, due to productivity gains.
