Delta drops their extra insurance charge for unvaccinated workers
On Wednesday, Delta’s CEO announced they will end their $200 monthly insurance surcharge for unvaccinated workers. Over 95% of Delta’s workers are vaccinated and they do require all new hired to submit proof of vaccination. CEO Ed Bastian said of the policy change, “We've dropped as of this month the additional insurance surcharge given the fact that we really do believe that the pandemic has moved to a seasonal virus.”
