Gunfire hits at least 3 striking Cambodian workers
At a garment factory in Cambodia making shoes for Puma, at least three workers were shot while protesting. Workers were protesting the working conditions at the factory. The factory says that the violence happened after workers threw stones at the factory, after which workers say a security guard shot at them. Some workers' rights groups say that violence against workers in Cambodia has been increasing in the last few months. Over 1,000 workers were participating in the demonstration.
