The Anixter Center offers therapy and rehabilitation services for Chicago residents with disabilities. However, they also run three businesses that are staffed only by workers with disabilities. The goal of the Anixter Center is to provide people with disabilities the chance to gain valuable workforce experience. However, they are quick to point out that in many ways they are run just like any other business. They strive to run an efficient business and expect high performance from their staff.
