Hotel Union Threatens to Strike Before Inauguration
Unite Here Local 25 has threatened to call a strike at 14 major D.C. hotels if they do not reach an agreement with management on a new contract by Jan. 15. The timing of this labor dispute coincides with the presidential inauguration, a very busy time for local hotels. Despite these threats, representatives from both sides remain hopeful that an agreement can be reached.
