Illegal Immigrants Arrested at Wal-Mart Stores
Early Thursday morning, federal officials arrested more than 300 illegal workers at 61 Wal-Mart stores across the country. The workers were members of cleaning crews that the company hired through contractors, and all were in the country illegally, according to a spokesman with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. A Wal-Mart spokeswoman said that the floor cleaning crews were employed by outside contractors, and as such are not Wal-Mart associates.
