McDonald's Settles Lawsuit by 420lb Man
McDonald's has settled a lawsuit filed by a man who claimed the fast-food chain violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and state employment law by denying him a job because of his weight.
Joseph Connor, the man who filed the suit, demanded $300,000 for financial loss and severe emotional trauma, in addition to a job at McDonald's. The terms of the actual settlement have not been disclosed.
