Jobs Here and in China a White House Topic
When the Chinese premier, Wen Jiabao, comes to the White House on Tuesday, jobs will be an important topic of discussion. Many Americans are concerned with the amount of manufacturing jobs that are being lost to China. However, China has also had to deal with massive layoffs. Although there is economic prosperity in the big cites, those in rural areas are becoming increasingly poor.
