Locating a job on the Web takes smarts
Internet job boards can be very useful tools to job seekers, however finding a job on the Web may not be as easy as it seems. Employment experts suggest using sites like Monster.com and HotJobs.com in combination with other online tools in order to be more successful. Other Web-based resources to consider include corporate job boards, niche job boards and professional search services. Today, large corporations are increasingly posting job openings on their own Web sites and job seekers can use sites like DirectEmployers.com to sort through positions offered and be linked directly to them. Niche sites are helpful because they focus on particular industries or types of jobs.
