More and more Starbucks locations are pushing for unionization
Starbucks workers in Massachusetts have filed for union elections. The stores located in Boston and Brookline, Massachusetts wrote a letter noting their intent to unionize to Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson on December 13th. The Massachusetts workers say they have been inspired by the Buffalo union campaign and that they have similar issues with understaffing. The workers also say they are bracing for an aggressive anti-union campaign like the one Buffalo workers claim they faced.
