More men train to be nurses, midwives, secretaries
The number of men working in fields traditionally considered women's work, like child-care and nursing, is increasing. This trend can be explained by rising unemployment that is motivating workers to find employment in any field available and the changing attitudes toward gender and careers. Unfortunately, men in female careers often face discrimination and high rates of job stress, which can lead to retention issues.
