Retirement shadow looms over part-time employees
With employers reluctant to hire full-time staff, an increasing number of U.S. workers are working part-time or in temporary jobs. These workers are able to spend more time with their families, but they also do not receive the benefit of company retirement plans. Financial experts suggest that these employees start saving early and invest in IRAs.
