Workers' IBM Case Heading to Jury
Lawyers for two former IBM employees, who claim working in the firm's San Jose plant caused them to develop cancer, will deliver closing arguments today. In order to win the plaintiffs must show that IBM knew they were being harmed and deliberately withheld that information. An attorney for IBM said that the plaintiffs failed to prove that their illnesses were caused by work and that IBM was aware of any problem.
