Torn between money and safety, some US workers flee Iraq
Some U.S. contract workers in Iraq are returning home due to concerns for their safety. The US military uses civilian contractors to help perform tasks such as cooking meals, washing clothes, and collecting trash during deployments. Many workers are tempted to take contract work because the pay is very high, but the risk of danger is high as well.
