Trump is scheduled to sign an executive order, known as "Buy American, Hire American", that would significantly change the country's visa program for high-skilled workers. The Administration believes that the current visa program has resulted in tech companies hiring cheap labor and undercutting American salaries. The order would change the way H-1B are awarded and would have state departments propose rules that would prevent immigration fraud and abuse.
