Tuition assistance benefits the well-schooled worker
Many working adults who would like to go back to school face the problem of how to afford it. Some companies have established tuition-assistance programs to help their employees continue their education. These programs benefit companies as well as employees by producing more skilled and dedicated workers. Often these programs have restrictions such as a cap on tuition or requiring employees to stay with the companies for a specified length of time after taking advantage of the benefit.
