Virgin cabin crew ditch strikes
Virgin Atlantic cabin crews have reached a deal with management that will gain them a 4.8% pay increase and prevent two 48-hour strikes that had been planned for this week and the next. Despite a somewhat acrimonious period of negotiations, representatives of both the union and management are confident that this deal will pave the way to better labor relations in the future.
