White-collar jobs moving abroad
A growing number of high-tech jobs are being moved abroad by U.S. companies to countries like India and China where the labor costs are cheaper. This trend is a result of increasing globalization, but many are questioning the impact on U.S. workers. Companies argue that they need to outsource jobs in order to remain competitive, but this means that domestic workers are being squeezed out of high-paying jobs.
